Terms of Service
The rules for using Game Backlog (ivoo.pl).
1. Who we are
Game Backlog (ivoo.pl) is operated by Piotr Smilgin, an individual sole proprietorship registered in Poland, NIP 7812091373, REGON 542041752, address Owocowa 1 lok. 10, 62-080 Tarnowo Podgórne, Poland ("we", "us"). By creating an account you enter into a contract with us on these terms.
2. The service
Game Backlog lets you track your game backlog, get personalised recommendations, and optionally buy AI-generated recommendation picks. The core service is free. AI picks beyond your one free trial pick are sold in packs for a price shown at checkout, currently $2.99 for 10 picks.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to make any purchase. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: abuse, scrape or overload the service; attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication; use another person's account without permission; or use the service for anything unlawful.
5. AI credit purchases
AI credit packs are processed by Stripe and delivered automatically to your account as soon as payment completes — there is no separate "shipping" step. Credits do not expire.
6. Your 14-day right of withdrawal — and its limit here
If you're a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from any online purchase without giving a reason (Polish ustawa o prawach konsumenta, implementing EU Directive 2011/83). This right does not apply once we've fully delivered a digital service with your prior express consent — which is exactly what happens with AI credit packs: they're a digital service, delivered immediately, and before every purchase we ask you to explicitly confirm that you want immediate delivery and that you understand you lose the 14-day right by doing so (ustawa o prawach konsumenta, art. 38 pkt 13).
If you did not tick that confirmation box, or if the credits were not actually delivered, your 14-day right of withdrawal still applies — contact support@ivoo.pl and we'll refund you.
7. Complaints & refunds
Something wrong with a purchase or the service? Email support@ivoo.pl. We aim to respond to complaints within 14 days.
8. Third-party game data
Game metadata, cover art and playtime estimates are sourced from RAWG, Steam/SteamSpy, SteamGridDB and HowLongToBeat. All trademarks and game data belong to their respective owners; we display them under each provider's public API terms.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of anything you enter (backlog entries, ratings, notes). You grant us a licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, in particular §4.
11. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee recommendations will match your taste, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under Polish consumer-protection law (e.g. for intentional harm), and nothing here removes your statutory consumer rights.
12. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may also seek assistance from a Polish consumer ombudsman (miejski/powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów) or UOKiK.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we'll update the "last updated" date above.
